Project A6: Ti Alloy Development

This project has a more fundamental focus, with the primary aim to develop an understanding of the mechanisms behind the nucleation of a-phase in metastable ß-Ti alloys. This should provide a scientific basis for the development of Ti-alloys with enhanced properties, such as increased deep-hardenability in thick-sectioned titanium components.
