The Centre hosted its third Annual Workshop at the University of Queensland on the 25th and 26th of December 2008. The event was attended by over 100 delegates representing all six nodes of the Centre, partner investigators, international collaborators and industry colleagues.
Key features of the workshop included the 3rd Ian Polmear Lecture presented by Professor Michael Loretto from the University of Birmingham on titanium processing, and poster sessions which enabled Centre staff and students to present results of their research efforts.
