| Expressions of interest are sought for Masters and PhD positions at any of the six partner universities in the Centre of Excellence. Candidates should have a First Class Honours degree (or equivalent) in materials science, metallurgy or a related field. Interested individuals should contact the Research Director of the Centre, or any of the Chief Investigators, to identify a suitable research program. |

| Appropriately qualified applicants are encouraged to apply for an Australian and/or University Postgraduate Award. Applicants who receive such an award may be eligible for a supplement up to $7,000 p.a. from the Centre. A limited number of full Centre scholarships will also be available but it is expected that candidates apply initially to the APA and University Award schemes.
